As the UK's leading Hand Protection Experts, Globus were invited to Arco's "Meet the Experts" event, held at Forman's Fish Island, Stratford. The event designed to bring together the UK's leading suppliers of safety equipment and clothing, allowed Globus to present their latest Showa Best portfolio, as well as providing product training and expert advice to key HSE's and end users.

The revolutionary Best N-DEX 7705 nitrile disposable glove proved to be hugely popular with delegates due to it being both 100% accelerator and latex free. Known to many as "The World's Kindest Disposable Glove".

Globus Partner BAE Systems

As a key partner to BAE Systems, Globus attended their annual Safety, Health and Environment conference entitled "Partnership for Success". Held at the prestigious Palace Hotel, Manchester, the event provided Globus with the opportunity to exhibit the latest hand protection products from the Showa Best portfolio and also allowed Globus representatives to be on hand to provide expert hand protection advice.

The two day conference was a huge success with the Showa Best range proving to be highly popular with BAE delegates.

Stand Down for Safety

Globus continued their support towards SSE work forces by attending the “Stand Down for Safety” day held at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station. The open day provided Globus representatives with the opportunity to promote, demonstrate and evaluate new technological advances in hand protection to SSE work forces and key contractors. The Globus stand proved to be hugely popular with high interest shown in the Best N-Dex Nighthawk disposable glove and Best Zorbit HV glove.

Success for Globus at Europe’s Largest Safety Event

The UK’s annual Safety & Health Expo, held at the world renowned NEC, Birmingham was an overwhelming success for Globus. The Expo welcomed over 15,000 Health & Safety professionals looking to source new suppliers, listen to key speeches from leading industry professionals and network with colleagues.

Globus showcased their latest ShowaBest range of industry leading hand protection products, with there being particular interest in the original N-DEX range of Nitrile disposables and the Showa 376, a glove specifically designed for use in oily and greasy environments.

Globus Exhibit at Off-Shore “Safety Awareness” Exhibition

Globus were one of twelve PPE experts to exhibit at the “Safety Awareness” exhibition hosted by Aberdeen based PPE distributor K&L Ross. The event attracted a host of off-shore health & safety officials interested in supplying the highest quality safety equipment and clothing to their operations teams.

There was particular interest at the Globus stand, where delegates were asked to take the “Grip Challenge”, which involved testing the grip of various Showa Best products in different environments.

The exhibition provided Globus with the opportunity to promote Showa’s latest development, the Showa 376, a glove specifically designed to give users optimum grip in oily, greasy and submersion environments.
